Colorado or Bust...

So I realize I haven't posted pictures for 3 months, but we are now getting settled in Castle Rock, Colorado. Scotlyn is adjusting well, she is almost 15 months old, starting to talk, running around and a drama queen! We are really enjoying it here so far, the weather an scenery are beautiful. I start as a Home Health nurse part-time in June, we actually found daycare across the street and couldn't have gotten luckier. Jeff is working hard, traveling alot, Scotlyn walks around the house looking for him yelling "Da Da". Here are some pictures to get you caught up.

Happy 1st Birthday Scotlyn!!!

Today was Scotlyn's 1st birthday! On Saturday, Grandpa Jim gave Scotlyn her first set of wheels. She loves to be pushed around the house on her new ride, it's exhausting for us, but she loves it!!! Notice the Jayhawk threads, Rock Chalk!!! Grandpa and Lute even brought a cake, although Scotlyn wasn't sure what to do with the candle. Today we spent at home, we celebrated her big day with a caterpillar cake that Jeff and I both made, we decorated the kitchen with balloons and streamers and let Scotlyn dive into her cake. We can't believe that 1 year has already come and gone. We are truely loving having Scotlyn in our lives, she is such a sweet little girl. Here are some pictures of today and other fun times...

11 months...

This has been a busy month. We are in the process of selling our house and moving to Lincoln Nebraska. Jeff started his new job with BASF yesterday. We spent the weekend with Nana in Palm Springs. They spend a few weeks a year there for vacation and they were nice enough to invite the 3 of us along. Scotlyn did great traveling. Here is the view from our condo. The weather was beautiful, 70's and sunny.

Happy New Year!!!

What a crazy holiday season! We went to Tennessee to spend Christmas with Nana and Papa Tom, Great Grandma Dorothy was able to fly down too. We then celebrated Christmas with Jeff's family on New Year's Day. Scotlyn did really well on the plane, although we had a few casualties from pesky airport chairs, we are no worse for wear. We hope the new year finds you all well. Here are some pictures of our adventures...

9 months old...

November has come and gone. Can't believe Christmas is just around the corner. We have had a busy month. Nana and Great Grandma Dorothy spent several days with us and we loved having them here. Thanksgiving was spent in Laurel with Jeff's family. All the new babies are growing like weeds, as well as Scotlyn. We had our 9 month check-up today, she is 21 pounds and 30 inches long. She is already in 12-18 month clothes for length and size 4 shoe, poor kid! We are flying to Tennessee for Christmas. Scotlyn's first plane ride, say a prayer for us!!! I will try to be better about posting more often, there just isn't enough hours in the day....
