1 Month Photo Shoot for Nana!!!

The Erwin frown shows itself once again!

This was our first attempt at getting her used to her playmat. She liked it for about 10 minutes, then the pouting started!

Mom, you should recognize this outfit. This is the outfit I came home from the hospital in,1977. We tried to put the bonnet on, but it was too big and flopped in her face.

She is so cute when she's sleeping, hard to believe she was screaming bloody murder prior to this picture!

Scotlyn is growing like a weed. We decided she needed a photo shoot to show off her "big girl" clothes.

Easter

It's hard to believe Scotlyn is almost 1 month old. She is growing so fast and starting to look around more and even smile. We are still working on sleeping at night!

2 weeks old and settling in...

She is so darn cute we can hardly stand it!

Our first bath was a bit traumatizing. She is learning to enjoy them much more now and loves having her hair washed.

We are starting to get the hang of this whole sleeping thing, if only it would be at night!

Nana was here last week and we loved having her here. It was hard for her to leave, but we will see her soon!

Our first family photo....Scotlyn was born on her due date March 2nd at 11:10 a.m. after 17 hours of labor. We had a great experience, our nurses were awesome.

The Nursery and the Belly...

After my appointment this week, my doctor thinks that I probably won't make it past 37 weeks, I've "dropped" considerably and progressing well. As a result I've been nesting ( you can literally eat off our bathroom floors) and getting the nursery ready. Here are a few pictures of the room and yes, the belly...

Kansas City Baby Shower

The baby shower in Kansas City hosted by my mom's best friend Julie was a great time. We has lunch and opened numerous gifts, everyone was so generous... thank you all. Here is a picture of me with my mom and my grandma.

8 weeks left!!!

Baby Erwin is doing well, kicking and moving like crazy. We will be in Kansas City the weekend of January 12th for Uncle Reese's wedding and a baby shower hosted by Nana Pam and her friends. We are starting to count down the weeks. Birthing class is just around the corner. We will start getting the nursery ready soon and take pictures to post of the baby shower, even possibly a picture of the "belly"...
